Brand terminology is protected by the Glossary. Before any string reaches the MT engine, active Glossary terms are applied — your product names, campaign slogans, and compliance phrases are never altered by automated translation. When human translators are commissioned through Gengo, the Glossary travels with the job as mandatory guidance.
Language Hierarchy makes regional market adaptation efficient. If your global campaign runs from a British English base, you can define market-specific child locales — Australian English, South African English, Canadian English — that inherit the base content and only require overrides for copy that genuinely differs by market. This eliminates the overhead of maintaining near-identical translation sets across regions.
Translation Memory means work done for a previous campaign is reused automatically for the next. New assets that share copy with previous materials are matched against the memory and translated at no additional cost. Over time, the effective cost of translation decreases as the memory grows.
